The nose leans more towards the darker fruits such as black plums and cherries with savoury aromas of spice and smoky bacon. The wine grains in complexity with the time in the glass and you seem to get a different aroma each time you go back to it such as wild thyme and dried herbs with good minerality. The palate is dry with a nicely textured mid palate and finished with firm, dusty tannins. The wine is more in the masculine style of Pinot Noir…”the iron fist in the velvet glove”/
We hope you enjoy this pinot noir and what we think is a pure express of the Central Okanagan Vineyard.
